Ajio is a fashion platform for online retailers to sell their products. Ajio works on a B2B2C model. i.e.
The end consumer sees inventory on Ajio Marketplace
The end consumer places an order
For every packed order, Ajio first purchases the inventory from the seller via a B2B Purchase Order and then sells to the end consumer via a B2C invoice.
How does Ajio’s B2B2C model work?
When a customer places an order on Ajio, they pay the complete order amount to Ajio. For example, INR 1000.
Ajio then deducts its profit from the customer's payment and forwards the order to you. Ajio will also issue a Purchase Order for the order and pay you the wholesale price, for example, Ajio deducts INR 300 from the order amount and issues a PO for INR 700 to you.
You receive the PO and issue a B2B invoice to Ajio against the issued PO.
Note: This invoice is issued from you to Ajio (Reliance Retail).
You ship out the order placed on Ajio directly to the customer. A B2C invoice and a shipping label are sent along with the order.
Note: This invoice is issued from Ajio (Reliance Retail) to the customer.
Note: As this is a B2B transaction, Eshopbox will generate an E-invoice on your behalf if you fall into the E-invoicing eligibility criteria. Make sure you have enabled E-invoicing on your Eshopbox workspace for the same. Learn here how to enable E-invoicing on your workspace.
In order to start selling on Ajio, you need to configure Ajio on your Eshopbox workspace. Learn here how to configure Ajio on your workspace.
